Pinn Panelle Knows What’s Up

So, one day not too long ago, ADTA founder Kelly Davies was cruising Youtube and came across something as unique as it was awesome. What he found was a video of Pinn Panelle performing their version of Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”; a song that isn’t normally played with instruments. Skrillex is a dubstep producer that has peeked his head into the mainstream. After watching, he immediately knew what needed to happen.

You see, there was a video in the works, but no audio track to overlay. So after a brief email conversation, Kelly had gotten permission to use all Pinn Panelle tracks, among other things. Not long after, ADTA Downhill Insanity Group Drift Triking in Austin was born. The video is something of a highlight reel of our downhill street adventures over the weekend of January 8, in Austin, TX.

“Pinn Panelle is what happens when a Rock outfit pushes the limits on themselves and on their physical instruments to perform music that is not only innovative and powerful, but genuine and meaningful. With the release of their viral, live Dubstep cover video of “Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites” by Skrillex, the band has voiced what they’re capable of, and hints at the massive potential their future holds.” More from Pinn Panelle’s Facebook page

I think this pretty much sums up why we needed a little Pinn Panelle here @ USADriftTrikes.org.

caught that video a while ago stumbling the interwebs… I was truly impressed by their innovation, but mostly by the fly highlights in the guitarists’ hair. lol. reminds me of Rufio from hook.
